The True Cost Of Owning An Aston Martin

The first price tag comes with owning a car, but do buyers often forget about the second? How much does it cost to keep up with maintenance on an Aston Martin? Is it affordable?

These are all great questions to ask when considering to buy a luxury car. While an Aston Martin is undoubtedly worth every penny, does the upkeep fit into your budget?

How Is An Aston Martin On the Open Roads?
When going down the highway in your Aston Martin, the gas use isn’t as bad as one might initially think. Aston Martins are considered a type of ‘touring’ car. This statement is especially true with the larger models. The bigger touring cars would be the Vanquish or the DB9.

Any of the sports cars on the line, however, you would rightfully expect not to do as well on long-term drives. This is simply because it’s not what they’re made for!

Any of the other models are great, however, for long-distance trips. Features that all Astin Martins share is wonderful cruise control, comfortable seating, a quiet engine, and flawless air conditioning. Exactly what you need for the perfect summer holiday!

Where Does The Price Come In?
After purchasing a luxury vehicle such as the Aston Martin, the first month of ownership is where you’ll notice any problems. That’s the same for any car that’s been sitting out on the lot for who knows how long. Once an Aston is treated as an actual car instead of a shiny object out on a showcase, you’ll find that it is one of the most sturdy and reliable experiences to come across.

Have you ever heard the saying that you get what you pay for? That starts to come in with the gas mileage. Out on the highway, it’s normal to experience around 20 miles per gallon. This is around the same number that we had when doing a mixture of highway and street driving. However, it tops the EPA’s estimate for the car of 19mpg.

The drive itself though, well…

Is It Worth It?
Hands down, yes. We haven’t had a brand that we love more. That’s why we do our best to show off this great vehicle.
